Golbez is either sitting outside with a mug of tea watching people walk by, or heading over to check on the FF IV house, if it's evening.

Arche is flying around checking out everything ever.

And Lyn is hanging out around the barracks, doing her training.]

[However, Golbez might have some trouble actually entering the FFIV house. You see, there kinda is a snoozing giant sea serpent in the way.

...Well, along with a snoozing younger (yet currently older) brother, but that one should be a common sight by now.]

[Well, that's... new. Golbez takes a look at the serpent, then a look at Cecil, who looks completely chill and at ease, so he probably wasn't knocked out by the creature. So it's most likely safe.

Satisfied with this logic, he lowers himself to a knee and rests a hand on Cecil's shoulder.]

Cecil. I'd not recommend sleeping outside.

...The one Tales I haven't played dammit.

[What, that was the brother he hasn't seen in a year and a half speaking to him? ...Not important. He just manages to snuggle against both the hand and the serpent.]

You've got me beat there.

[It's actually somewhat impressive that he managed that, but Golbez, while somewhat amused, still has to wake him. He shakes a little.]

Nevertheless, I must insist.

[ While Golbez may have been trying to avoid the chaos, it seems that chaos itself decided to come looking for him in the form of a lunatic clown. Literally emerging out of thin air, Kefka appears with a wide smirk painted across his brightly colored face. ]

[ His grin grows a bit wider now. ]

[Oh if only he had Dissidia memories. Sadly, Golbez has absolutely no idea who this strange clown who just appeared in front of him is, so he's just going to blank face at him.]

And what, exactly, do you think you've found?

[ Such a shame that is. Nevertheless, Kefka is pleased to at least see Golbez still alive. That means that the goody-two shoes haven't ruined all the fun just yet for Team Chaos. ]

You're a rather difficult guy to track, Golbey.

[Now the excitement to see him is suspicious enough in and of itself, but as soon as Kefka calls him by name (if a rather absurd nickname), that gets his attention. His eyes narrow a bit.]

[...Kain actually looks less grumpy than usual to see him.]

Golbez. What was the outcome of the war?

[Well that's... interesting. And confusing. And the question doesn't help. He raises an eyebrow.]

War, Kain? If you mean the one here, it continues to rage.

[That, and this Kain has no trouble with his voice.]

I mean the war of the gods, Cosmos and Chaos. Is it ended? Or is this some new cycle...?

[Which is... unexpected for him, considering what he last remembers.]

[Theodore looks up, slightly startled, and frightened. That is a huge man.]

[Well Golbez, you certainly are a sight for sore eyes as she worms her way through the people (seriously, the village is so busy) and stares at you as you sit on the porch.]

Isn't it a little cold to be sitting outside?

[Action] It's more like stumbling around as a zombie really.

[He raises his head and gives her a welcoming smile when he sees her. In response to her question he holds up a mug of something steamy.]

Tea helps with that.

[When he enters the house, there's a tiny green-haired girl on the couch. She was snoozing, but perks up when the door opens, rubbing her eyes.]

Cecil...?

[Well, this is a surprise... last time he saw Rydia like this she'd been his adoptive little sister. Is this the same one, or has she just regressed in age?

Better guess the latter. He pitches his voice just a bit higher than usual in case she's already met him, though the lack of armor should provide enough of a change.]

No. Is he not home?

[She stares at him. There's something about that voice...but fortunately, it's just different enough not to cause panic.]

I dunno. I was asleep. Maybe he went out.

...who're you?

[Through the magic of fourth wall, Golbez shall somehow arrive at the FFIV house twice, the second time finding it...

...missing.

DUN DUN DUNNNN~]

[Wait what? He could have sworn the house was there. Did he get turned around somehow?

No, a quick glance across the road shows that everything else is right. Just the house is gone. Did the Malnosso take it? Is everyone else alright? So many questions!

Golbez goes to flip open his journal and check in with the cast.]

Uncle of course!

[Once Golbez arrives at the house, he'll be able to spot something of a familiar sight playing cheerfully in the yard. (Other people were kind enough to deliver the bitty there for cuddles and cookies earlier.) The little guy isn't all that familiar with the yard, but that makes it all the more important to explore everything! Ceodore's looking under every leaf and curiously turning over every twig or other object he can find to inspect.]

Best Nephew

[The second Golbez sees his nephew, he stops dead in his tracks. Younger he may be, but that is most definitely Ceodore, returned to Luceti. Cecil and Rosa must be ecstatic. Golbez himself is pretty darn happy.

In fact, he just kind of stands there watching the bitty run around, a smile growing on his face.]

[The tyke cheerfully continues along on his very important business of playing hard until he glances someone nearby as he patters around. He turns to look closer and stops short, staring in awe. That is the biggest person he's ever seen!]
