Golbez is either sitting outside with a mug of tea watching people walk by, or heading over to check on the FF IV house, if it's evening.

Arche is flying around checking out everything ever.

And Lyn is hanging out around the barracks, doing her training.]

[What, that was the brother he hasn't seen in a year and a half speaking to him? ...Not important. He just manages to snuggle against both the hand and the serpent.]

You've got me beat there.

[It's actually somewhat impressive that he managed that, but Golbez, while somewhat amused, still has to wake him. He shakes a little.]

[...Hang on a sec. That voice. That very familiar voice. He opens his eyes in disbelief.]

[He chuckles a bit, not quite realizing how surprised Cecil is to see him. He also hasn't noticed the lack of wings yet.]

Indeed. Where did you get that impressive pet?

[paladinlost]

Leviathan? I received her egg the Christmas before last, she-

[Wait, why is he talking about this?]

So Rydia was right. You truly are here.

[He manages to sound both happy and sad, somehow.]

... What do you mean? Why would you be surprised about that, Cecil? We have both been here for some time now.

[Though that creature seems to tell a different story. Golbez is now getting rather confused.]

I only arrived here a few hours ago. I spent the last year and a half in Johto.

[Leviathan nods along. Yup, that's right.]

I have heard nothing of any Johto before now. But I know for a fact you have been here in Luceti for the past several months...

[He trails off into thought, trying to come up with some sort of way this could make sense. He's not coming up with much though.]

...Johto has never made much sense, when it comes to time and space. I've no doubt this world is very much the same.

[He sounds tired of it, yet also perfectly accepting.]

This is true. Many of those who arrive here come from different points in time... perhaps you are from the future or past of the you I know here.

[Casuality is confounding.]

Everyone seems to come from my past, most often the distant one. That's quite probably the case with him, too.
