Rydia... The Malnosso have demanded the lives of all the affected. They claim that should we fail to kill you ourselves, they shall do so in a far more painful manner.

... Beware, I do not know if any of the residents have decided to do as they ask.

What? But how are we a threat to them? We can't leave even with these powers! Bastards. I can't believe that many would listen to them...but some might be crazy or desperate enough to do it.

Thank you for the warning. I'll remain on my guard and try to protect anyone who might need it.

[Frustrated.] I don't know. This occurance must be a threat to them, or they wouldn't go to such desperate lengths, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how.

Do so... and let's hope that when the Malnosso inevitably move, our new enhancements can actually do something to help you and the other affected.

Neither can I. Nothing I have seen or done has proven to me that we are a significant threat. There must be something we're missing, but whether or not we'll find out in time....

I'm sure your enhancements will be of aid; if not against them, then against those who fall to their side. I don't know why anyone would, though--it's not as though we've ever been able to trust anything our captors say.

It's only been a couple days since this all started... perhaps over the next few days we'll be able to uncover something useful. Surely we have that long. And the longer the affected stay unharmed, the longer we will have with these superior abilities...

I can see several of our fellow residents obeying these particular orders simply because it give them an opportunity to use their powers. Or to kill.

I wish I didn't have to think such about fellow captives/residents here, but you're probably right. Some don't think about anything but themselves and how much chaos they can wreak. If they have official sanction for it....

The results could be catastrophic.

Stay with the others, Rydia. Protect them, and allow them to protect you.
