What is this?

... Yes, a Lunarian. A most insane, hate-filled one by the name of Zemus.

A hate-filled Lunarian? I've never heard of him to be honest.

I-I am. Sort of, I guess.

Given that the large majority of the Lunarians on my world are in a magic-induced sleep, we may not be talking about exactly the same thing.

What do you mean?

The Lunarians of my world long ago realized that the people of the blue planet were not ready to deal with the technology and magic they possessed. The vast majority felt that it was better to simply avoid contact with the humans until such time as they could handle the interaction.

However, the magic of the moon was dependant on eight crystals, and there was a limit to their power. Until the Lunarians could arrive on the blue planet, it was necessary to minimize the strain on the crystals. Thus, they placed their entire race into a deep slumber.

Avoiding contact with humans was something we were advised to do, but what I remember is that we were trying to make a treaty or something with Earth. I-I was never really up on politics, but I don't remember much of my time as a Lunarian, either.

And eight crystals? I only know of one, which was one of the reasons we were attacked, and the kingdom destroyed.

Your time as a Lunarian? You are... something else now?

Then we most likely are from different worlds... we just have an interesting number of similarities.

I'm not sure, actually. I died back when the kingdom was destroyed, but my mother used the crystal, and the last of her life, to make sure I was reborn in the future. I was reborn human, but I-I dunno. I'm rambling!

That sucks. I was hoping I met someone from my own world, even if we were thousands of years apart.

I see. Regrettably, reincarnation was not one of the powers granted by the crystals of my world.

It is a pity. Am I to understand that there is no one else from your world here?

Yeah. No one else here, but that's A-okay! I wouldn't want more people to suffer here anyway!
